Hi! in this second blog you will find out how the process of making this film has been. After brainstorming our ideas, and giving each group member a role in the movie we went to a small talk with some experts in each area, for example: i am the director so i went to the director talk. In this talk i got informed of basic knowledge a director has to know in order to preform a good role. In this talk they told us about the importance of the filming angles, sound, camera stillness and last but not least the key things a director has to do in order to be a good director. After going through this talk we all got back together and share what we had all learned in our small talks, when doing this we then did some more brainstorming about what tools should we use in order to do some shots we wanted, so for example: we wanted to use a drone. Unfortunately a drone is not permitted when filming because the only camera you can use is the camera from your phone, so the drone camera is not permitted so we had to come with a plan B or a way to figure out how can me make our phone fly in order to shot the angle we wanted. When we had already brainstormed our final ideas and tools, we felt ready to start scripting! What we did was we tried to divide the plot into different sections in a scrap paper including: the introduction, the rising action, the climax and the resolution. In each stage we wrote what had to go where and what events are KEY in order for this section to be clear, we decided to do this because we saw that time was a problem, our film has a lot of events and different scenes so if we have to cut some parts; we already know the parts that are essential to leave in the film. When scripting we found it sometimes a bit confusing joining some parts of the film and events and sometime the ideas we had on mind didn't really fit well the story plot. This is why we did the script as detailed as possible so we can manage well the different scenes, settings, characters and atmospheres each part of the film has. A problem we has when scripting was the amount of characters we have to use, we have to find some extra characters that are willing to get involved in our movie and give us their time and best energy, we also noticed that all of the group members from our group are girls, so sometimes when had ideas that included boys, we had to figure out a solution to make that character disappear or for that character to be a girl instead of a boy. When we finally finished scripting, we divided our script in parts and then we did a key to know which parts of the film where filmed in which setting so for example: the part number 1 will be filmed in Manuela Uribe house, the part number 2 in a farm of Guasca... etc.
